Who We Are

Simply Christians, following the Bible together

Oak Hill Drive Church of Christ has been part of the Escondido community for decades. We simply want to be the church you read about in the New Testament: devoted to the apostles' teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer (Acts 2:42).

Our church family is cared for by elders (also called shepherds), deacons and ministers, who serve as described in Scripture (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1).

What We Believe

Built on God's Word

The Bible

We believe the Scriptures are inspired by God and fully sufficient to guide us in faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16–17).

Salvation

We are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and we respond by turning to Him, confessing our faith, and being baptized into Christ (Ephesians 2:8; Acts 2:38).

The Church

We are not part of a denomination. Our congregation is led locally, and we look to Jesus Christ as the head of the church (Colossians 1:18).
