Ways we learn, serve and care for one another

Every member has a place to grow and a gift to share. If you'd like to get involved, we'll gladly help you find the right place to serve.

Raising up the next generation

Our youth minister teaches our young people, leads the children's worship service, and organizes activities for the kids outside of Sunday worship.

During the main worship service, children are invited to a worship time designed just for them, with Bible stories, songs and lessons they can understand and carry home.

Education

Growing in the knowledge of God's Word

Bible study is at the heart of who we are. Classes for all ages meet Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings (see service times).

Whether you are opening the Bible for the first time or have studied it for decades, our classes offer a welcoming place to ask questions and dig deeper.

Seniors

Wisdom, service and fellowship

Our seniors are a vital part of the congregation. They serve in leadership, volunteer throughout the church, and encourage younger Christians with their example.

Once a month our seniors ministry holds an outreach at Oakmont in Escondido, bringing communion, song and a Bible message to residents who cannot attend a worship service.

Fellowship, prayer and practical care help our seniors stay connected and continue to use their gifts for the Lord.

People's Needs

Caring for our church family

We keep necessities like canned goods and clothing on hand for church members in need, supported by the generosity of the congregation.

Together we look after the mental, spiritual, physical and financial well-being of our family, giving of ourselves as the Lord calls us to do.

Prayer

Devoted to prayer

We believe in the power of prayer to effect real change. We pray together in worship and at home, and we welcome prayer requests from members and visitors alike.

If you have a need that can be met by prayer, let us know — we would be glad to pray for you.

Fellowship Events

Family around the table

In our fellowship hall and kitchen we share pot-luck and themed meals together, usually after Sunday morning worship around 12:00 PM, at least once a month.

Visitors are warmly invited. Call or email us (details below) and we'll let you know when the next fellowship meal is planned.

Office

Keeping everyone in the loop

Our church office prepares the Sunday bulletin with the order of worship, songs, scripture readings and sermon notes, and maintains the church directory so members can stay in touch through the week.
